Samsung Kids timer error

Samsung kids is not longer logging time accurately on my son's Tab A.  For example, he will play a game for 1 hour and it will only log as 14 minutes of time played.

I have tried a factory reset and added games etc again downloading the app again but this is still an issue.

Same. It's rubbish. It's the only reason for using Samsung Kids. Why is it such a constant battle to stop our kids getting royally addicted to screens?!

Same here. Any fix or alternative?

My kids have been playing for 40m now with the timer set to 30m,and it's says 0 screen time used! Hopeless system.
