New Tab A8. SD card showing in my files but not in Settings

SD card reads in My Files but not showing in Settings/storage. Research advises to go to settinggs/storage, select advanced tab and format card. I don't see an advanced tab and the card must be ok otherwise it would not show in My Files?

Any advice much appreciated.

I have the same issue with my Galaxy Tab A8 10.5" Tablet. I see the SD card in y Files but not in settings, also I have no advanced option when I click on settings, storage...then no advanced.
