Help please. My wife has a great Samsung tablet but one infuriating issue is charging the battery. The moisture error which won't allow her to charge the tablet.
The phone and charging cable and charger plug have aways been clean and dry. We've tried all methods under the sun to dry and clean it further and even bought new cable and plug but still getting the error.
I've tried shutting down , pressing on off button and volume button with the charger in or out. Up to now, hours of fiddling about, usually works. But now that's not working.
The battery is down to zero and sill gives the moisture error. Any suggestions please. Other than buy a new tablet but not Samsung?

This is a common error for most people. Have you tried unplugging your device from the charger, then wiping with a dry cloth or gently shake your device (5-10 times) with the port facing downwards to release any excess moisture.

Thanks. I've tried that before. I finally got it charged 100%. Shaking, drying, warming and pressing buttons and restarting. No idea which resulted in success

@Mawem Have you tried the interactive checks?   Go to Samsung Members-Support-P|hone Diagnosics-Cable charging.   If error is highlighted you would need to contct Samsung Support or visit a service centre.Try a Forced Restart by holding the  Volume Down and Power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds until the Device  Reboots.

If  not solved  you could try clearing the USB cache  as shown in this article https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/my-device-displays-a-water-drop-icon-and-will-not-...

I am also aware of a few customers though   who did not notice any debris/mositure  but it was detected by an employee at the Samsung Service centre, not saying it necessarily applies in your case.

You could try in Safe Mode as sometimes there can be conflicts with 3rd party apps and if resolved in this mode would pinpoint recent third party apps which have been installed (if applicable).

May still be need to contact support if the Troubleshooting fails.
