I have just purhased a Galaxy Tab A (2016) 4G enabled (unlocked).  I transfered my Vodafone Sim from a Vodafone Smart Tab but it wont connect to MMS or Internet.

 

The SIM is data only on a pay monthly contract with Vodafone.  

 

I have configured the APN following the guides on Vodafone's web pages and also discussed it with Vodafone.  TBH they are trying to help but I dont think that they know what the problem is.

 

Vodafone publish several configurations and I have tried them all.

 

Am I missing something within the tablet?  Is there a hidden setting that I need to turn on/off?

 

Does anyone have any advice?

Can you try the sim in another device just as a process of elimination to see if it works.

Look in your online myvodafone to ensure that no data bar has inadvertently been toggled on.

Quick questions if I may....

Is mobile data definitely turned on.
Does this happen no matter where you are ?
Do you see any data connection icons such as 3G etc ?
