Missing keyboard

I ordered the the s9 ultra 512gb 5g version Samsung accepted the order and showed keyboard on confirmation, on delivery, no keyboard, tried calling them and said subject to availability, they had stock bur steadfastly refused to supply me a keyboard. They are still offering a free keyboard on their sales page. If you don't like it you can return for a minimum 20% handling charge! Am really peeved to have spent over a thousand pounds and to be treated like this

Hi, and welcome to the community.

Unfortunately, this does happen from time to time. I own the same tablet and always fancied the keyboard. However, I've become used to just using the on-screen one. It's a fantastic tablet.

I fully sympathise with you and find it truly appalling, free gifts not being honoured seems to be a ongoing issue with samsung, I've had this happen myself on a few occasions, customer support seems to be where samsung fall off, live chat can be daunting and kind of demeaning as it gets you absolutely no where calling them up is just the same, I wish you all the luck in getting this resolved and do update us on any future outcome.

Thank you for replying on behalf of Samsung, and yes it is a deal breaker, when order is placed a contract is in place, the order was accepted and confirmed and included all items so Samsung broke this contract

Pressing that buy it now button is not you entering into a contract with Samsung. It's you making an offer to buy. The confirmation you received is just Samsung confirming their receipt of your offer to buy. The contract starts when the goods are despatched. You will have received a despatch confirmation prior to that, showing exactly what goods are to be delivered.

Don't go down the contract route... you'll lose.
