For the past week I have found that my Galaxy Tab 8 is somehow signed in to My Google account as a Linux device.
Of course I reported it,changed passwords, and so on. but it keeps on happening. It is definitely " impersonatjng" my Tablet as the sign in and out tmes tally. i have had no unusual activity in my apps or data usage that I can see, nor unusaul battery drain. A forum in google suggests that this has
been a quite a widespread issue and advises raising it with Samsung.
This is my 1st time on the forum, so I hope i am in the right sector

I suspect there's something wrong at the Google side of things. Android is Linux based so it is not identifying your device properly. There's nothing nefarious happening so don't worry.

Thank you so much. I was quite concerned because I had no idea that this was innocuous rather than a hacking attempt!

Are two software systems operating at the same time in my tablet simultaneously make it look like another device is connected. It shows that the Linux device is my tablet but it also shows my tablet
