Knocking off a device from hotspot teathering

I need help.  I want to knock someone off the mobile hotspot without changing passwords that knock others off.  How can I do that?  

(I want to knock them off so that realise that they should only be doing work stuff not private lol)

Unfortunately that's the only way. Hotspots don't offer the luxury of mac filtering.

That a shame. Really should be a feature in muting a attached device.

Actually some mobile hotspots do have mac filtering. Huawei devices do for instance and allow you to create blocklists.

Always used to be a feature on Samsung too. I only realised this week that it had been removed. It's not something I use a lot clearly but very useful. Disappointed it's gone.
