i have Galaxy Tab A 10.2 (t-580) which I'm trying to rebuild but am having lots of problems but the first is that I cant get it to reboot in recovery mode - I've tried volume up, down and both and the power button but all just end up with a normal restart!

Or how do I start it up without the setup process or cancel the setup process!

Turn off your Galaxy Tab A completely.

Connect the tablet to a computer or laptop via a USB-C cable. If you don't have a laptop or computer you can plug up to a TV, console or another device like a phone or tablet.

Wait until the charging icon (lightning bolt) appears, indicating it is connected and charging.

Press and hold the Power button and Volume Up button simultaneously.

When the Samsung logo appears, release the Power button but continue holding the Volume Up button until the Android recovery menu appears.

next problem I'm getting these blue boxes coming up all over the place and when I type anything I have to press the key repeatedly until it registers.
