Google Meet on Galaxy Tab S6 Lite

We have just bought a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. We want to use Google Meet. We can participate in meetings, but we don't have all the functions available (hands-up, layout/grid). We have both tried in the Chrome browser and in the Meet app, but it is the same. We really hope that someone can help, because we're quite frustrated.

agree it is frustrating. same issue on galaxy tab A 2019. personally think it is Google version of meet for tablets missing some functionality. surprisingly I've got those options on my 10y old laptop. so don't know if it is Google or Samsung but come on guys do something!

Same here on my Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Take the steps below and it should works:

- uninstall Google Meet app

- clear the cache within Google Play Store app

- download the newest Google Meet .apk file from APK Mirror

- go to the device settings and allow for installing apps from unknown sources

- open and install .apk 

- enjoy the new Meet app 😎
