Galaxy Tab A8 connect to a VGA second screen

My Galaxy Tab A8 Model SM-X200 arrived and I want to connect to my VGA screen monitor for a bigger screen. I have the AVG to HDMI connector and the USB-C. I tried to connect them all and no images on my Screen monitor. It works when I connect in my PC.

Please can you advise how I connect connect my samsung Tab A8 to a VGA screen monitor?

Unfortunately the Tab A8 does not support MHL so you will be unable to project it to a monitor using the usb c port.

Thanks. I can see some websites said it can connect through with a chromcast, is that OK?

Or if the screen has HDMI connection it will be fine some webpage said?

Thank you how about HDMI Direct connection as I'm thinking if it worth changing the screen too sometimes

You won't be able to connect it via any cable using the usb c port. You can use chromecast if it has miracast capabilities through smart view or the designated Google app for chromecast (I'm not familiar with this)
