Hi I purchased a Galaxy A9 + from a company called CEX this week I connected wireless to my old galaxy tablet to transfer information to the new one that went well I then tried to open the new tablet but it was asking for a password I tried the passwords off my old tablet this did not work so I tried to reboot but it would not switch off without the password I went on YouTube and tried the method of holding down the on off buttons and the volume control still did not switch off or take me to the page where I could do a factory reset
I took it back to the store they were unable to solve the issue saying it was a password I had set in the system I have been trying different passwords and I am now up to 8 hours in between attempts does anyone have any ideas how I can get to a factory reset please 🙏

There are mixed opinions on CEX , whilst claims that checks are conducted aware of some having issues with substandard goods. Therefore if the troubleshooting does not work would be best to return.
