Front camera crop

Hi,

I have the Samsung Tab S9 and I'm facing issues with the camera crop.

The tablet has a wide angle lens in front but it seems only the native camera app can use it. Anytime I call for example in signal, the camera is awfully cropped in. Makes it difficult to position the camera correctly so my face fits in the frame. I also don't like the video effects option available in some apps (not including Signal) that zoom on your face automatically, I would like to simply be able to use the wide-angle camera lens as it is in calls, why is this not an option?

This has been extremely frustrating to me, and I would be happy to find a solution to this.

Hi.
I have Tab S8 and the camera works fine on it. I believe that is a Signal developers issue or other apps that you use. Some apps are not optimised well or they are more compatible with other devices than the one you are using. You can reach the developers and give them feed back on the app.
