Good morning,

Normally I clear the cache on my devices once in a while. I wanted to do that now but can't seem to find the option to do so?
Only per app or do a factory reset which I do not want at all!

You can try this, connect the tablet to your laptop with usb. Shutdown the tablet, turn it on holding down the volume down and power button. On the bootscreen you can let down the power button.

Or try this:

Yes but that will delete all settings and that's what I'm trying to avoid 🤔

Or can I choose clear cache partition and keep all passwords and (personal) settings?

Hi @Durian, good afternoon.

Have you tried one of the tips of @Rohit

You can also put a widget on your home screen for maintenance, but this isn't the same as cleaning your cache partition.

Kind regards,

Martijn

He helped but I didn't do it. I'm kinda scared because it's not just a button, feels like we are not meant to do it anymore. I'm afraid I'll be losing stuff I need to keep 🤔

Somebody said it isn't readily available anymore, the clear cache button in the maintenance section of settings, because android does it automatically and we shouldn't interfere with that process.

So, I'm actually more confused about the subject than I was yesterday lol
