Connecting Galaxy TAB A SM-T510 to my LG smart TV

I want to connect my Galaxy TAB A SM-T510 to my LG smart TV.  I'd like to be able to show whatever content is on the tablet, on the TV instead. 

I've gone to blutooth settings and I can see my TV as an 'available device', but when I tap it, it says 'an app is needed to use this device'.

Ideally I'd like to be able open apps on my tablet like the FA player, but be able to see them on my TV screen.

Is this possible?

I use Google Chromecast 1st gen (actual HDMI device) with my Tab A7 to stream to my TV, I don't know what apps are available for your TV to support screen mirroring or straight casting of media without a dongle. You're better off asking that on an LG forum really
