A way to get blurred background feature back?

I have updated to one ui 8 and it seems to have removed the blurred background feature when swiping down for notifcations. Is there a way to get it back? It just makes it look buggy and harder visually in my opinion without the background being blurred.

You’re not alone—Samsung seems to have toned down or removed some blur effects in One UI 8, likely for performance or consistency reasons. Sadly, there isn’t a toggle to bring that specific blur back in stock settings.

A couple of things you can try though:
• Check Good Lock → QuickStar once it updates for One UI 8—Samsung sometimes adds visual tweaks back there.
• Keep an eye on incremental updates; UI polish changes often return based on feedback.

Totally agree, the blur helped with readability—hopefully Samsung reconsiders it!
