I got my lad a new Samsung Galaxy A9+ 128GB tablet for his birthday to replace his other 3 year old Samsung tablet. It's been great until this evening. He let it go completely flat this morning, and now it won't charge. I've tried to different chargers that work on other devices and it won't work. Left it on charge for two hours it give it time, held the power button for 10 seconds and nothing. It is literally lifeless. I checked the charger hole and it is clear of debris and hasn't got wet.
Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated.

Hi welcome to the community, do you by any chance have a lightning symbol when on charge ?
Either way try this hold down power and volume down buttons at the same time (soft reset).

Thanks for replying, even after a 2 hour charge with a working cable doesn't show anything on screen. I've phoned Samsung customer helpline thing and been through all the tech help and nothing. It's now been booked for repair under warranty 🤞
