WhatsApp bugs on Samsung DeX (Galaxy Tab S6 lite)

 Hi,
So there are two pretty big issue with the WhatsApp application when launched in DeX mode:
1. It's impossible to type effectively since the input text field is cut in half by the window. This is not related to the taskbar since the problem persists with autohide activated and however the window is resized;
2. The app won't close when the "x" button is clicked, but it will freeze instead. In order to close it you need to click the "x" buttons on both the processes (for some reason two different processes are open) visible when clicking the app icon on the task bar.

I don't know if there are any fixes but I figured it would be useful to let y'all know about the issue.

Android version: 13
One UI version: 5.1
Current version: P613XXU2BWC2 / P613OXM2BWC2 /
(Everything is up to date as of posting this, WhatsApp version included)

Hi,

I have the same issues on the same tablet. This is due a Whatsapp update that implemented the new Tablet interface. I've contacted the WhatsApp assistance but they weren't helpful. However the second problem you've reported disappeared in my tablet after the last whatsapp update.

Please report the problem to the application provider, in this case WhatsApp.You can do it directly from the Play Store > Contact Us.

Same issue here, have you found a solution? I work all day long with whatsapp in my tab s6 lite and now it is terrible to work on it!

Hello, I am facing the same issue. I have found out that turning off the side-by-side view helps. Please, try to give it a try. Best Regards.
