Could we get the ability to hide the notification bar or choose what we want to see displayed. I know some 3rd party apps do thus but it seems like something that could be done.

I don't hold much faith in that happening.
I discovered recently that the network rate status bar info I keep seeing on android screenshots, is part of stock Android, and Samsung have removed it.

I don't think Samsung want us to tweak the status bar beyond what they want to show there.

it's a shame,seems like such a small thing for them to do as they let you customize so much of the phones nowadays. I just prefer the clean minimal look on the homescreen.

This would be great, I used to use Good Lock to remove the Alarm and Sound Mode icons as I always have an alarm set and permanently leave my phone on vibrate.

My status bar used to be so much cleaner, they should really add the option to remove any icon you like from the status bar for a much nicer aesthetic.

@Beno86,

I've just forwarded your suggestion to our development team 😊. I also prefer the minimal look on my device. Let's see if something can be done regarding this idea 😉.

Yup good lock for me to.. Although I forgot to reinstall that option.. Bluetooth and WiFi for me - rarely turn them off and the battery icon... I have the percentage, don't need the battery as well.. Note it doesn't work with beta yet!
