Hello, 

Here is my suggestion. 

When you hit the shift key to change the letters to uppercase, the numbers should change to their corresponding symbols on a full keyboard ie. 1=! 2=@ 3=# and so on. 

And just like when you hit the shift key once, it changes back to lowercase the symbols would change back to numbers, and if you double click for caps lock it could lock the symbols as well, so they would just switch exactly like the keyboard already functions. This would mean you don't have to navigate to a different page for an exclamation point and it would seamlessly change back. You could still have the separate page for symbols as well but I thought this feature would be really helpful! 

I just switched back to Samsung after 2 years of iPhone (I only switched because I got a free one) and I truly don't even understand how there is any competition between the two. I have yet to find even one single function that I prefer on iPhone. Thanks for making a great product!
