Hi, I think there should be an option on the quick panel to disable auto-lock until you press it again. By quick panel, I mean the thing you see when you swipe down from the top of the screen. I am not sure if I am using the correct terminology, my apologies. The reason I think we should he able to do this is it is very useful especially because when someone is doing a project or doing work of some sorts and needs their screen on for prolonged periods of time, it becomes irritating to regularly tap the dimmed screen to stop it from switching off. My laptop had broke recently and for a while I had to study with my phone. I had to tap the screen so many times while I was doing work and it became irritating. I am sure many people have experienced the same situation like me. It's easier to just click a button on the quick panel and continue to do your work without interruption and switch off the 'disable auto lock' when you're done. I'm not sure if this is already a thing but I think it would be very useful for students and young people. Some other examples are bakers who use their phone for recipes are often online a lot reading recipes while cooking. Their hands get dirty and you'd have to keep tapping the screen with flour fingers. It is easier to press the button to disable auto lock before you start whatever you are doing. It is efficient and quick and you don't need to leave the app you are on.
Please consider my suggestion. Thank you, have a great day.
