Charging cap

It would be nice to have the option to choose how much we can charge our phones. For those who don't know this feature would reduce charge cycles which will help with battery life down the road. It could be put in the battery section in settings under charging. It would also be great if we can set what percent it charged too ( like wireless power share).

Samsung's tablets already have something similar that limits the max capacity of the battery to 80% (the battery meter will still report this at 100% though)

That is really interesting! 

I will share it with the development team to let them see if adding that option would have an impact on the battery life.
If it does, then I can imagine how great this option could be!

Since One UI 4.0, there's battery protect, which when enabled limits battery charge to 85 % and can be enabled/disabled by Bixby routines since One UI 4.1

The option existsat least as of Anroid 13 OneUI 5.1 (apparently earlier). Can this be marked "resolved"?
