I agree as well. Seven is so ugly and it pisses me off, because you can't revert back to what you had before. I spent literally hours trying to figure out how to change the separated notification and control panel so I can combine it once again to be the way I like it. I don't want an iPhone ever. But of Samsung keeps making my phone look and act like an iPhone as they have been, my next phone won't be an iPhone, but it won't be a Samsung either. I hate one UI 7. There is literally nothing that I like about it.

Imagine wanting my phone to be the phone I bought and not turn into a knock off of a phone I hated and therefore did not buy ...

I'm using it right now. And you know how I got here??? Before I read or saw or watched anything about this? I googled "how do I turn off the upgrade that turned my Samsung into an iphone?"

I updated my A25 5G this week and I can say it runs worse, lags at times, camera UI is the worst it's ever been, overall it's bad. I don't really understand who smoke pot while designing this new update. Even before receiving the update, I was looking at the S25 with it and I told my sister "Sis please wait for me I must see how this thing looks because of the software, not the hardware itself". And as others pretty much said, if I chose to buy a Samsung, I bought it because it's Samsung and it's iconic the way it is with OneUI at least...but no. We gotta Applefy every piece of technology, plaster AI everywhere, and not to think twice about being ourselves with our own kinds of style, but just think of corporate money. Like, to give you an example, how many people you see with older Samsung phones? I see many here and I almost recognize each of their models. With the new design, it's like "Ok yknow what...I can't recognize this phone..." and trust me I can easily difference something like a Note9 from an S10 or a Note10 from an Note8/S8. Though, people must realize, we aren't in a fun era anymore. We're in the digital where everything loses color and individuality.

And not to mention how even the smallest privacy we wish we'd have, we really don't. And regarding technology that we carry within our own pockets, if you ever think of rooting and replacing your operating system from what the manufacturer offers, your warranty gets void, device keeps yelling at you through text that you're not running official stock stuff anymore, etc. Oh and one more thingy, not to mention how there is already Android 16 even tho 15 is rough and there is also OneUI 8 despite 7 being a ***** junkyard if you can even call it that, and us Samsung users, no matter phone price range, we're still stuck with the previous generation operating system that even if it receives regular updates, or monthly security updates, it still is, in fact, a version behind, just like how Debian does it on computers. So, note to myself, this is the last Samsung Galaxy device I'll ever use, unless I move to older phones. Good to had you Samsung, but you lost me to either Pixel or Redmagic.
