Change "show even while screen is off" to "show even while screen is on". There is no need for edge highlighting when screen is on.

Yes that makes more sense.

Slightly off-topic as far as beta goes, but I used to prefer it so much more with my Galaxy S9 when there was a small LED on the front to show when you had a notification.

Since such suggestions can be highly individualized, their implementation depends on the number of users supporting such an idea. In general, more votes, e.g. in the form of likes from other users, are needed for it to be considered.
