I think the Samsung nav bar could be improved

It could show:

 -Default: only vital icons like battery, connectivity

 -When opened: all the active settings

I think it would be good to have the option to switch between 'simple' and 'detailed' nav bar.

What do you think?

Do you mean the top bar? The navigation bar is usually the bottom bar with the navigation buttons (back, home etc). Ref the top bar, there are a few options like showing the number of notifications instead of all, removing some like alarms. Not sure I'd would want to never see all the icons unless the notification shade was down though. But maybe it would be nice if it could be linked to the modes, like work mode hides certain icons, and home mode shows them back etc.

Hey, that's correct - got confused with the terminology there! I just think that the top bar could benefit from a bit of de-cluttering but I also think it should be a user’s decision to decide which type of top bar they want to use. I also think that some new(style) icons could change the look and make it more accessible. Apple and Google are doing it well.

Lol, there's no vital icons in navigation bar. It's on status bar
