The shortcuts on the lock screen are one of the most used feature for me and for many other people, I am sure. However, I don't think the swiping to open/use is convenient. I mean yes it gets the job done but it would just be way better and more polished if it had that little bit of a more elegant animstion to open and use that shortcut. For example (and im not saying copy it completely) Iphones have the smoother shortcut openings in my experience with phones, something similar (but more unique to samsung) should have been a thing on the first one ui 7 beta but here we are.
