Full screen gestures are still broken even in beta 2.
When you swipe very very fast and swiftly from the edge of the screen towards the middle, user can notice that system is firstly buffering the central swipe (wich correspond to specific app functions) and only subsequently the "back" action. This despite the "back" arrow animation shown in time wich demonstrates that movement registration is OK but buffering hierarchy is not.
This problem has been referred as "touch problem" or "animation stutter" in many threads over reddit and forums. The reason is that for a very brief moment system reacts to the wrong action input.
But in reality it is a non perfect hierarchy of gesture interpretation.
You can reproduce the bug mechanically swiping very very fast from edge to center in whatsapp (where it will trigger VERY BRIEFLY the camera or status pages from left or right respectively) or in Gmail (where it will trigger very briefly set action for single emails).
This is a unique bug that only Samsung have since Android 11
Setting a new home launcher doesn't resolve the issue (maybe because part of one Ui launcher still remains in memory to manage multitasking and gestures).
Using One hand operation plus (setting only back action to all the swipes) fixes the problem.
Please escalate this report to the engineer in charge.
Thank you for your consideration

@oile ,
Thank you for pointing out this problem and for the detailed description of it. 🤝
Please report this issue in Samsung Members app > Error report so that developers can take a closer look at it. The report should be submitted 2-3 minutes after the error occurs to ensure that log files are generated.

It is not a bug that occurs sporadically. It wouldn't even be possible to log it because it's a systematic erratic behaviour: it happens by system default and by (bad) devs design.
Devs have to look into input actions and rendering pipeline all over again because it started since android 10/11 when gestures were introduced by Google and badly implemented by Samsung in One Ui.
Only you, moderator, can forward this to devs.
I know it might not be in your assignments but please, may you forward this thread? Only in this way we can cooperate to make a better ui and not throwing ideas into a void social space. Thank you very much

I can confirm, gestures are broken indeed

This phone is pointless, 3 hours screen on time, bad gestures and ***** animations after six months. Daddy rambaldi88 can't fix it with millions of adjustments, kinda sus.

Even after beta 3 the back gesture is broken

Hello. Any update on this?
Found this topic on google. I have A53 on Android 13 One UI 5 and the bug persists. Which makes me think it's universal across Galaxy devices.
I wonder why this issue hasn't been fixed yet and not widely discussed. Am I the one facing it?
One Hand Operation app is some kind of workaround but it can't fix upward swipe from the bottom.

I am currently using a54 and still the bug is not fixed. I am in shock after switching from MIUI where these gestures worked flawlessly.
