Maybe reboot your watch was well before doing the update. I noticed on mine, few weeks before the update the watch kept being sluggish and had to reboot it to make it work ok. It's been ok since the OneUI 4.5 update though. Also is this not the OneUI 5 forum?

There was a message about this on the Notices page:

When updating Galaxy Watch SW, when copying a
new version from phone to watch, there is a problem
that it cannot be copied if WiFi is turned off. At this
time, turning on WiFi can solve the problem

Thanks for the heads up for the watch update. I can confirm it had installed on for me. I believe you can download and install direct from the watch settings if the watch is connected to your wi-fi
