First of all , a massive problem with face unlock on android is that if I don't turn off the screen before I put the phone in the pocket, it almost always swipes away and unlocks my phone. This is ridiculous and makes it useless to me. I use fingerprints and never face unlock. The phone always swipes away when touching my pocket, never had this problem on an iPhone where you must swipe from the very bttm. Don't know what these smart people from Google are waiting for to fix this as it been 10 years now or I am the only person on this planet having that problem?
