In this scenario, rather than just tapping on the widget on the lockscreen to take you to the corresponding app (which in my opinion is a bit unreliable because you have to put in your password), it brings up a miniturised widget panel on the lockscreen!



Of course for privacy (e.g reminders) where you dont want other people changing your settings, you can have the option to password protect the reminders widget where you can only check off any reminders you set and you cannot edit or add it unless you put in your password.
