Battery indicator on always on display

Not a fan of the new white indicator for battery tbh. Very much don't like it sat on my always on display either. Can we have an option to hide it? 

Pretty sure battery indicator didn't used to be on the screen for aod on oneui 6

You pay a lot of money for the most customizable phone on the market, with the best always-on display, and then they change it and force you to have a white nonmoving blob top right of your screen. Every time I look at my phone now I curse the One UI 7 devs.

That's the reason I have downgraded back to 6.1...
