Can we get back the ability to toggle either the battery percentage on or the battery and percentage together like we used to in one ui 7.0 and 6.0?

I am glad someone raised this. I seriously regretted the UI 7 update, but having spent hours making the phone workable (not good but workable) I just need to get rid of the battery icon and the app page search bar. The battery icon makes the numerical battery level unreadable.
