Kinda an odd request but bear with me.
Ultra series phones come with a laser sensor for auto focus. So the phone can measure exact distances of objects behind it.
This sensor is only used for focus, nothing else.
It'd be really handy to give api/permission access so other apps can use it. Maybe even release a dedicated app for it. Having the ability to use a phone as a laser measure would be amazing.
It already can do this, I'm just asking to be able to see or use the laser distance data.
