I have three cleaning hacks to keep the home smelling good during the hot weather. One I use carpet freshener (the powder) on carpets and sofas to keep them smelling fresh and clean. I do this one a week to keep that fresh smell. The second hack is when cleaning the toilet use bleach and a bit of washing up liquid or a bit of flash spray to give the toilet that extra bit of shine do this twice a week and you won’t get many nasty smells especially if you put a toilet freshen in there too. My third hack if your washing machine is starting to smell but a 2 caps of zoflora or any liquid detergent in the washing machine and put it on a cold 30 min cycle and the washing machine won’t smell as bad but it will need to be done one a month and make sure you clean the outside of it too as-well as the areas inside the machine that can collect water as that’s where the smell will most likely come from.
