We’re excited to announce the launch of the 2023 Solve for Tomorrow Competition. The competition is designed for 16-25 year-olds living in the UK and Ireland, regardless of previous experience or qualifications, and encourages applicants to submit a game changing idea that addresses a problem within the areas of Education, Sustainability, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Social Isolation. 24 applicants will then be shortlisted for a programme of mentoring, workshops, and expert coaching – all competing for the chance to win £10,000 and 3 months mentoring from Samsung and Startup Discovery School.
To learn about last year’s winners, access useful resources, and to enter the 2023 competition visit the Solve for Tomorrow Innovator Hub here.
To mark the launch, director and presenter Reggie Yates was joined by motivational speaker Harnaam Kaur, musician and mental health advocate Jordan Stephens, and Solve for Tomorrow winner Ramneek Kaur Ahluwalia at Samsung KX on 19th October to talk about the core issues affecting our society today. The panel discussed topics including mental health, the importance of connecting with others, and how to be confident in being different. The panel’s discussions were broadcast on Samsung UK’s Facebook and the recording remains live to watch back if you missed it.
Attendees were then taken through a series of workshops with expert Reuben Christian to get inspired, and think of ideas to address some of the world’s biggest problems.
