Trying to register a smart TV in Italy.

Hello.

I'm trying to register a smart TV in Italy. I live in both the US and Italy but my account is registered in the US address since I have Samsung products there too.

When I tried to enter the serial number it says it's not valid, probably because my account is in the US and the serial number is Italian.

Should I not register the product yet and wait for it to break and try to explain the situation or is there a solution?

unfortunately I think to register your product, you need to create an IT account. Do you want to register the product to participate in some Italian or American promotion? I can advise you, since your is a US account and therefore not a European one, to try asking on Samsung Members US.
Did you buy the TV in Italy or in the US?
If you bought your TV in Italy can you tell me where? (Samsung website, euronics, trony...)
I'm available for any clarification.
