I have a number of devices that connect to Smart Things and I'm not overly happy with the Samsung App. I would like to provide that feedback here and see if there are more with the same or other issues that could trigger Samsung to develop this further
1. Washing machine settings - Recipe
I have a smart things washing machine and the automatic dosing of detergent (and softener) is an app setting and not a recipe setting. That is stupid cause white- and black laundry I have to switch it off across the app and for colours I have to switch it on again. This should be a setting in the recipe so that it automatically switches off and on when necessary. Screen warning would be nice
2. Washing machine settings - Favourites
I use smart things on iPad and android phones. But favourites created on one device do not travel to the other device. In my view this should be a cloud service that moves across devices
3. Soundbar settings - Standard audio mode
The standard setting for sound mode is "adjustable sound" / "aanpasbaar geluid" but for stereo audio over Chromecast that is just not right and the sound is awful. The Mode should be "standard". I can't set the "Standard" mode as default setting and that sucks
4. Connecting other vendors
I had connected HUE to Smart Things but I also connected Smart Things to Google Home. But apparantly Smart Things believes it is the right action to also connect HUE through Smart Things to Google Home and now everything is doubled. I disconnected Smart Things from Google Home as a whole
5. Connecting Smart Things to Google Home
There is just no added value to connect Smart Things to Google Home. The devices come with no settings/choices that make any sense and that is a shame

Thanks for the feedback. I will forward, but you can address these issues through our Samsung Members app as well 👍
Just send an error report and make sure you provide the logs as well, so our developers can sort things out.

Thanks for forwarding the feedback. On my Oneplus (Nord nor 8T) I can install the Members app so that was not an option for me.
I hope my feedback makes it forward, especially for the washing machine part.
