So for the first time in a very long time I have used a phone in landscape mode: the S 25 Ultra while using the Samsung Members app.
I love what it does as the screen looks like a tiny tablet. Browsing the Samsung Gallery, this turned into landscape too.
Whay I didn't like:
- while using the Memmbers App, there is a huge black notch that cuts the browser in half, I wonder if the developers can do something about this.

Pretty cool feature otherwise and I want to use it more.

I personally dislike the widget and app arrangement changes from portrait to landscape. It's a bit jarring and confusing, not to mention a pain making both look neat or organised. Not sure why they didn't give the option to revert it to the old way.

I like it, for me it makes the screen feel larger the way it's designed to function in landscape mode.

I was actually thinking more from the tablets perspective, but now I've come to realise they actually act like 2 separate screens where you can set the layouts differently and independent of each other, so it's not as bad as I thought.

I have never preferred tablets because I found laptops to be more useful, but now I am trialing a couple of tablets from Samsung and I love the layout of the pages and the screen layout looks the same as on S25U and it feels spacious compared to the phones screen. Haven't used tablets in years and the couple of tablets I am trialing are both on Android 14 UI 6.1.1 and I find them easy to use and pleasant to the eyes as set up.

I've only really got into tablets since I first bought the Tab S7+. I instantly fell in love with it and bought the Tab S8 Ultra when it released. Samsung tablets feel more compact and better for my needs than my laptop, so I've stuck to them ever since. The Tab S8 Ultra just got the OneUI 7 update and it's been a great improvement, especially in terms of performance.

Same here. I am planning to get myself a tablet some time though, tablets evolved alot now and they are more versatile than a laptop. I like to use them without keyboard as well.
