Samsung have opened the Upcycling Beta for turning old Galaxy Phones into IOT devices,via Smart Things. Initially available in the Uk,Us and South Korea. Once this is enabled customers will be able to use their old phones as Baby Monitors or light detectors with the aid of repurposed sensors, enhanced AI and battery optimisation.
