I have read about Smart Tags and Airtags lately because I think they would be useful. But they only seem to work if other decvices are nearby, galaxy devices for Smart Tags and ios devices for airtags. I know that iPhones are more popular in many parts of the world and therefore Smart Tags might be more difficult to track down.. Especially if you loose something in the woods or someplace else where no one is walking.. (and if someone does, they probably have an iPhone according to statistics)
I would love to see a Smart Tag that works without other devices needing to be close by. Maybe a GPS inside or something.. I want to have Smart Tags on my keys, suitcase etc but if there won't be a lot of galaxy devices nearby, I really don't see the point since they won't work.
I would love to see a Smart Tag with a good solution for this. If GPS isn't an option, maybe do a collaboration with apple on this? But I think a gps or something similar would work.
Also I find it weird that the regular S24 doesn't have UWB-chip.. I think all flagships should have this.
