Screen protectors, decrease screen size

I am a ZFOLD7 user and found that I am not longer using the cover screen, as oddly I find it small, but used to find it perfect for most tasks ... so what changed.

After some thought, I realised its the new Spigen screen protector, yes its rounded edges are better than the stock Samsung one but they are poor quality.

I believe i end up using the screen protector area 🤦

The irony is the screen is super strong, drop, smash tested, just not feather tested 😉

So am I mad or does anyone else find the same ?

I agree. Screen protectors make the screen look different. I had a different one for the S25U and it seemed to make the screen smaller, but since I am using Spigen, it made the screen look wide again. I have been using this Spigen privacy screen protector for a year and it's cracked, but it doesn't give up.💪

I love the Spigen but its going to have to come off 🙏
As ruining my cover screen experience, I just didnt realise.
Plus the Pitaka has no cover screen side cover.

I searched high and low for a 'full screen cover'.

I even ordered a couple of these from nillkin and had to wait for weeks for despatch from China to UK. The reason I bought this is it says CP+Pro full coverage tempered glass. I expected this to go edge to edge.

However when i received i fitted one and it is just the same as all the others. Mis-sold and inaccurately marketed ! 🤬

I sent a complaint to them... and they just sent me a voucher code towards another purchase. I mean why would I buy more when they cant accurately describe the ones I already bought.

... so i have gone back to the Samsung film AR protectors for the meantime. At least they are edge to edge. They dont offer the same protection as a tempered glass, but I am yet to find a tempered one that does fit correctly. They all fall short to enable the use of a front case.

I am kind of happy with film. The anti reflective properties are helpful.

Funny I realised I am using both screen protector and case from Spigen and maybe they make the phone look and feel better as used together.😁

I just realised you said you are no longer using the ZF cover screen, and my first thought was that the inner screen must be strong because I imagine you are opening it several times during the day.

I never used Pitaka, I like them because they are stylish but they are too expensive for my taste lol

That screen protector is too small for the ZF 7 cover screen. The one I use for my phone covers pretty well. There are edges left but not as wide as that.

Spigen are not the quality company they used to be now
I've had a few problems with their screen protectors particularly
Tend to look sround and get from elsewhere these days

Pitaka are awesome, but offer only protection on one side, so useless when dropped, but the ZFOLD7 is so thin any protection around the cover screen side would be worse than a screen protector

Wow thats the same as mine, though Spigen didnt say edge to edge.
