I was just thinking about this. With all the 1 inch sensors available on the mobile market. A redesign of the current 200 megapixel sensors.
Sony recently announced the Xperia 1 v with dual layer transistor sensor.
So if you took the physical size closer to a type 1 size and used 1/1.2" or a bit more. Used a similar technique as Sony or worked with them. It could yield far better results , improve the main lens to a uv and anti-reflective solution.
Resolution could be 64 megapixel binned into 4 superpixels. We all know 200 megapixels is experimental and reliant on conputation. At least with better physical attributes the results will be better overall.
A physical fillter ring attachment to allow inclusions of add on for nd, polarizer or light pollution filters for example.
