Samsung Apparently Adjusting Plans For Folds/Flips

Speculative and need to see how accurate this is. However it has been reported in a Korean publication via a Tipster that the combined production for the Flip/Fold 7 will drop from over 8 million units to 5 million. Meanwhile production for the S25 series will increase by 7%. it is hoped that other foldable plans such as the Trifold will create more excitement and a buzz factor. However I have noticed previously that the leaker is said to have a good track record.

There is also speculation that one of the major Chinese brands may pull out of Foldables. Rumours are this is Oppo.

Begs the question about the future of foldable devices if they aren't selling in high enough volumes....

In my opinion the Samsung Fold⁶ fe should had been the Fold of release and available global.

If so I'm totally with you. The Fold 7 should all be the SE and need a camera upgrade to boot.

There is only so many ways you can cut a pie, plus usually you cannibalise volume from your other products.

I keep saying more people would RISK a Fold or Flip is the horror stories of failures were neutralised with a free replacement from Samsung experience assuming no damage.
