Samsung 2025 H2 - Speculation and wants

I am not one for death scrolling certain Samsung fan, info, leak site as most of it it garbage or just plagerised from outher site and including here. The only true leaks are the prototype or influener samples, but they are no supposed to leak.

So i thought lets have our own thread for the remainder of 2025 Half 2 (H2).

My favourites are the S25FE, Watch 8 (if square), Ring 2 and the XR headset

MOBILES

S25 Edge - Super thin, i think it will be another innovation (are back to slim mobiles like a decade ago)

ZFOLD7 - Better camera and thinner, i would prefer more robust and better warrranty terms

S25FE - Now this could be interesting, it had a 1hr hands on with the S24FE was impressed

WEARABLES

Watch 8 - Classis returns, so boring an predictable, Samsung alternate each model, I would like a square screen.

Ring 2 - NFC for payments, cars, etc  an aesthetic Samsung backlight logo on the outside, more gesture controls

XR Headset - I fear this is a dead duck like the Apple headset, hope not.

Smarttag3 - Able to work standalone, a 4G version

SMARTTHINGS

Smart home accessories - come on Samsung make your own agiain, Matter is not working

AUDIO

McIntosh - Samsung separates system, must retain the retro dials, meters

Buds - Offer a better range of eartips, foam, hook, sizes to help get the perfect fit

OTHERS

A device i do not fear i need a rugged case for, even though it has all the latest Gorilla, Corning glass protection

ACCESSORIES

A way to be able to recycle these back to Samsung for store credits, as it is SO MUCH

PLASTIC WASTE

Luxury accessories, my ZFOLD3 1TB was £2k !!! i used a £2 pouch to put it in, read the Apple look at Apple Hermes

certainly a number of good points, remains to be seen how much is taken on board.  I  certainly think the cameras on the Fold neeed upgrading for value even if some have been satisfied with the picture quality. Thinner models seem to  be a demand at the moment though some of that  is driven by the companies themselves. 

I would agree wiith more tips/sizes for earbuds  as current supply does not suit everyone,easier recycling of accessories has been mentioned before and would like to see it being given more of a priority.

Can't believe this has been said previously and repeating it weeks later, but after UI7 I find I am content with my ZFOLD6 camera, I know because my daily full frame camera search has STOPPED 🤣

Thin yes is better, but we all chuck on varying thickness cases to protect the devices, so I find all the aesthetic drama gets lost

Headset VR is what i want to test and buy, but concerned any gossip dried up a few months ago. I wonder is the trio of Samsung, Google and was it QualComm are having a drama between themselves or we are about to see the upteeth bits at VR Goggles, Glasses die at MK1.

I do like the Meta Sunglasses, if you did not know you would not know they can record, take a picture, video calls and voice commands
