S25 Ultra Specs Rumours*

What are the rumours that you've heard about the s25 ultra. I know it's very early but I remember before the s24 ultra released. Months before people predicted the specs and it was 100% accurate.

I'm hearing rumours that it will only get a ultra wide camera change which will be 50mp but everything else will be the same. If that is true then I am very disappointed. 

Why can't Samsung ditch the 200mp nonsense and just get a larger sensor. Sensors make the difference, not megapixels. 

What I think they should do in terms of cameras. 

1: bigger sensor 1 inch sensor

2: 4K/8K SUPER STEADY MODE

3: Upgrade larger sensor selfie camera

4: 4K 120fps that actually has stabilisation

5: Default camera should be 24mp, not 12mp. Remove the 12mp camera completely 

What do you think of my choices?

I was with you regarding the bigger sensor until I read an article about how taxing the sensors are on the cpu and battery.
That's the reason I believe sony don't even put it on their own phones.

Also vivo downgraded from the one inch sensor on their latest vivo 200.

I also have been trying to get Samsung to ditch the 200 MP in favour of all 50MP cameras with a standard 24 MP output. Which is what Apple has done. ( mostly).

I personally also want Samsung to bring back their variable aperture atleast for the zoom lenses if they can like on their old Samsung s9+ .
Don't know why they can do it.

A 1.8 f stop on a 5x would be crazy if they can pull it off.


I am hoping though with the ultrawide 50MP it may have a better macro with the s25 ultra.

Things I want samaung to copy from vivo is the crazy tele macro they have and the bokeh.

Also apple did the filter grid what I wanted Samsung to do.

( maybe some apple guy stealing my ideas I put to Samsung) 😂

I want them to bring the S series with rounded corners back with a photography centric device and leave the boxy note design as a business centric device that it was.

But I guess they want to push the zfold as a business type of device now.

The s25 ultra does have a bit of curved body.

So will see how it pans out.

It will definitely have something better than just the wide camera upgrade.

So you say that the 1 inch sensor taxes the cpu? Im not too familiar with all this but I will take your word for it.


Even if it is taxing. Can Samsung not bypass this?

Can't Samsung be the FIRST brand to fix the issue.. Either with a bigger/ better battery or with the best type of optimisation?

I'm sure this is going to happen but Samsung can set the trend.

Samsung shouldn't wait for Apple to get a 1 inch sensor because they will set the trend as always.

Also another feature that could be revolutionary would be something like NIGHT VIDEO where it's specifically made for night time and it make great/crisp DSLR type videos. I think that would be a great idea. What do you think?

I've read:

- Slimer bezels
- rounder frame
- slightly bigger screen
- 50mp upgraded ultra wide
- obviously new SD chip with improved performances

Other than the new ultra wide camera, likely more iterative changes and nothing that significant.

I'll hopefully be in a position to get it... Be good to have qi2 with magnets but it likely clashes with spen (and you can basically add it with the right aftermarket case...)

No it can't be fixed, Sony tried a 1 inch sensor and the phone constantly overheated. Phone bodies are too slim and dense so can't stay cool enough.
