Game settings persist when switching between game mode and tv apps. When having the tv set to automatically switch to game mode enabled whenever a gaming input is used, the TV forgets to switch back the settings set for picture and audio when opening up a tv application {netflix app etc).

Scenario:

1. Starting PS4, selecting the input for PS4. The TV automatically adjusts and sets the TV in game mode.

2. When done gaming, the user clicks on the Netflix button on the remote. Then in Netflix, the colors and picture settings are left in game mode, and the sound profile is still in game mode. This makes the picture and audio settings not loading the earlier preset for how the picture and audio for Netflix should look, but instead the gaming profile is set.

We have checked this internally, and it is supposed to be like that. You need to manually change it when you switch from example PS4 and Netflix.

Would it be possible to change this "feature", since it is quite cumbersome to go into the settings and change the picture mode from game mode to filmmaker mode and sound setting from game mode to surround mode each time I switch from the PS4 to a TV application like Netflix, since that's the way it works with other inputs to the TV. Right now I've disabled the game mode completely since I got tired of hearing my wife and kids complain about that the picture and sound doesn't look and sound good when going from playing on the PS4 to using the TV application for Netflix. Would it be possible to treat all TV applications as a separate source from the other HDMI inputs?

I will check if the PS4 has variable bit rate enabled, and try to disable this option, maybe then I would switch between game mode and normal "movie" mode settings.
