Hello dear Samsung community support. I got Odyssey G5 S32CG552EM (LS32CG552EMXCH)

I did previous update before about 3 months from this link to 1004.0 (M-C5500GGZA-1004.0[C8AE].img) and it was .img file

And now 1005.1 is out and i cant update! its now .bin file!!!!

I do this with same USB 2.0 8GB with FAT32, with only one file M-C5500GGZA-1005.1[D4D4]_OTP8MB.bin

And it wont find this file on USB.

UPD 13.03.25 - tried 4 another usb sticks, 4gb, 16 gb, 32 gb - all failed. All are formatted FAT32 and MBR partition.

Please help!

There's a new ".img" firmware file in the download section of this monitor. Ugraded succesfully to 1005.1.

Hello,

I have G5 LS27CG552EUXEN with firmware version 1002.1.
I want to update to the latest 1005.1, but I'm stuck with the same problem. No firmware image was found.
I used the firmware file in the solution of this Topic, and obtained the same result.

I'm using USB 2.0 8GB with FAT32, with the firmware image at the root.

I'm trying to do the same for the G5 LC34G55TWWPXEN, with the respective firmware image, but the same result.

Anyone can help me, please.

SOLVED
It was a problem about how the USB flash drive was formatted. Using Rufus solved the problem.

Thank you man! I wrote a tutorial that should be easy to follow for everyone.
Also showing the Rufus settings I got it working with.

I hope it will be useful for some people trying to update their firmwares! :smiling-face:

Dear Support Team / Community,

I am requesting support for the original firmware dump file (.bin, 8MB) for the Samsung Odyssey G5 monitor, model LC34G55TWWEXXV.

Details:
- Flash chip: Winbond 25Q64JVSIQ (8MB SPI Flash).
- Update method: I am using a CH341A programmer with a SOIC8 clip to directly flash the chip (not USB update).
- Issue: The monitor went completely black after enabling PBP mode and the OSD is no longer accessible. I have successfully connected and read/write using CH341A, but I need the correct dump file for this exact model to restore the monitor.

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could provide or share this dump file. Thank you very much!
