Hi Guys,

I recently changed my password and rebooted my phone. Afterwards an old device was showing on my blue tooth which had not been there for over a year. I think the backup I had went back to Jan 2022.

Anyway Im a bit concerned about the security of my device as I have not connected to this device an a very long time but it is showing on my blue tooth list.

Has someone remote connected this device as I have not paired it in over a year? or is it something to do with my recent change password. last done jan 2022?

Please put my mind at rest or confirm I have a security problem

No, you have probably cloud synced your Bluetooth devices to samsung cloud and then restored it, just unpair it if you think it's a security risk.

Hi @Matt369 . When you rebooted your phone, did you perform a Factory Reset? If so, you may have restored data stored then which would allow this device to show up again.

You can unpair/forget the device by doing the following:

Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > Select the settings cog next to the device you want to unpair > Unpair.

It wasnt a factory reset. I just changed my password and signed out other devices which it said were signed in. Thanks for your reply

There should be no reason to be alarmed, simply unpair the devices and this will disconnect them from each other
