New monitor attempts to turn itself off automatically (model LS25BG402EMXUE)

I have both auto-off and eco-off timers disabled, so that can't be the reason.

I've had this monitor for less than 48 hours. The monitor's Firmware ver. is: M-B4000GCZA-1008.1.

I've attached an image of how the turn off message looks like.

Please tell me how to stop the monitor from doing this. Thank you.Untitled.png

Look for PC/AV change it to AV and that should stop monitor to give this turn off.

2nd solution is to enable the off timer and set a time and then disable it again which seem to disable it for a user on forum.

Hi, thanks for the response,

I'm guessing these suggestions came from this thread?
https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/computers-it/off-timer-cannot-be-disabled-on-samsung-ls34j550wq/...

If so, yes, I'm now trying the suggestion #2, which is enabling then disabling the aforementioned settings. Bear in mind that there's no evidence that either suggestions do work. It's only the word of forum users. It's not an official fix.

I know it isn't official fix. But it seems to work for them, while others claim that off timer is bugged. Which is why it continues to re-appear when it isn't supposed to show if its turned off.

Also yes that is topic i found, when searching on Google.

Well, so far, I've not experienced this problem again after applying solution #2. But I will report back here if the problem return.

Thanks for your help.

If this has stopped showing and monitor stays on. Then glad that it solved your problem and don't forget to mark my reply as solution so others can see your problem is solved :smiling-face:
