Meta To End Whatsapp Support For Android Devices Running kitkat Or Older

Whilst will not effect many, information for anyone who uses a 10 year old Device or has one lying about.  From January 1 2025 these Devices will not be able to access Whatsapp. Basically due to advancements they will not be hardware compatible.

Samsung Devices impacted include :

• Samsung: Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Ace 3, Galaxy S4 Mini

Similarly dated Apple devices will be supported until May though.

I did read about it and was wondering 🤔 how many people actually using those phones on the Uk. Given the batteries must be dead on those phones
