Microsoft has long acquired start ups or established companies to stay ahead, playing the long game, whereby if you offer everything you have and the competition then why would someone even consider the competition.

Question then, with the Buds3 and now UI7 Samsung seems to be going deeper into assimilating Apples style and feature, but so do Apple in some areas, do you feel this is a good or bad thing or might drive Samsung customers to Apple 🍎 πŸ’©

Aa far as I know, Samsung is struggling on its home turf itself with younger generations opting for the iPhones, and hence, it has a need to get them back to buying Samsung.

You see a similar situation in America where it's fighting on Apples turf, and hence, they have some of the crazier deals on Samsung.

The fact that Samsung has to deal with google and Microsoft demands also takes a toll on its offering in the phone.

Regarding your point . It seems only natural and needed as Samsung already, I believe, could be the largest eco system of them all in terms of hardware products and smarthings things is one cool software product which plays well with so many hardware.

I feel they should either sort out the cloud ☁️ with offering both google One and MS one drive as option in the gallery with seamless integration or just go back to doing theor own Samsung cloud again
( They still have Samsung cloud behind the scenes still running)

And no Samsung isn't copying apple it already had this mentality long before.

I hate when people say other companies copy Apple when it's the other way round.

Only thing with Apple is they copied others and done it better and controlling both the software and hardware gave them an edge.

Infact I would say Nokia was the first who actually kinda started this with the symbian software and phones and the app store.
It was just all over the place and they failed to update it over the years.
